...a site providing a showcase for the photography of Brian McCarthy. I am not a full-time professional, although I used to be. These days I work with computers to earn a crust and I take photographs for the sheer enjoyment it gives me.

The galleries represent a kind of backdated favourites, whilst the picture a week is often a kind of online visual diary - hopefully some of the pictures will be of interest, but I can't stop taking them and there's little point unless I can share them.

This site is for friends and passers-by, anyone who stops by is welcome and comments, positive or negative, are always better than nothing at all...
