On leaving school, I went to college to study professional photography for three years. I thoroughly enjoyed my time at college and left clutching my diploma. I went on to work as a photographer at the British Museum for ten years. I got to shoot in everything from 35mm up to 10x8, as well as getting lots of black and white printing experience. However, I left in 1987 and went off on a belated gap year, travelling the world with a couple of trusty old Leica M2's.
On my return, I found myself working with computers. Since then, I have worked in the multimedia industry, producing CD ROMS, computer based training and elearning and designing and building websites. I have worked for a selection of companies in the coastal city of Brighton, in the south of England - and a very fine place it is too.
Whilst photography is no longer how I pay for food and shelter, it is something that gives me endless pleasure and I'm never happier than when out and about with a camera.
